-At home

Save money and have a mini-spa day at home instead! You can make a simple DIY face mask and relax watching a movie while you let the mask soak in. I’ve found a few great face mask recipes (with few ingredients) here. These recipes are 2-3 ingredients only with all natural products you’ll probably already have in your kitchen

-Get your nails done together

If you want to splash out a little bit go get a manicure and/or pedicure done together! This is a great little girly trip out

-Give each-other makeovers

Do eachother’s hair and makeup and have a fun afternoon feeling pretty and glamorous. This will help your daughter gain confidence and self-love too

Go out for breakfast

Go to a cafe or restaurant and treat yourselves to a big cooked breakfast. Use this time to put away devices (yours too) and properly talk

Trip out to see the animals

Any place you can visit the animals will make for a fun day out. This is great if you’re daughter is still young but even older children and teenagers will enjoy this too. Help you both de-stress from work and school by petting the animals and having fun together

Historical place (somewhere you both like)

-Museum

There are plenty of museums on various topics that you’re bound to find something you’ll both like. Museums about childhood and toy museums are great choices for young children. For older daughters and teenagers, try and go for a favourite historical era or something related to past fashions
